This is the opening work of "寝取られの館". 成宮いろは plays a seminar lecturer, and her husband is the president. The two are respectable and stable, and it seems they are just staying in the countryside for one night. The guesthouse does not display any rules at the entrance; the true purpose is hidden after the check‑in.

Couples from all over the country, hungry men, and onlookers together transform the ordinary guesthouse into a different space. She enters as a guest, but is soon arranged as someone who can be watched and used in the museum. The beds and hallways no longer serve only accommodation.

I like the way she hesitates to leave her “guest” identity. Her body has already been pulled into the rules, but her face still looks as if she could still dress up and check out in a second. The more respectable the person, the more they make this museum look unrespectable.

The following dozen or so works expand on the same premise; the value of this one is that it opens the first door. Whether or not the audience is informed is deliberately left ambiguous in the plot; I prefer to see it as a couple arriving with a wish, and the people in the museum simply finish the second half of what they couldn't say.
