This is the first entry in the honest truth's Magic Mirror line. The wife stands before the mirror, while the husband is positioned behind it. She may not know who is standing on the other side, and the man on the other side cannot see him; only the husband can watch from start to finish.

The number of people is not the mechanism; the glass is. Sound can pass through, but movement is isolated on the other side; the distance is clearly close, yet the husband's body cannot enter the wife's space. She lifts her eyes to see only her own face, while he sees the entire process.

This arrangement is very attuned to viewing. The husband is not expelled, nor does he learn of it afterward; he is placed in the most suitable spot for watching and the least suitable for doing anything. The stronger his presence, the more concrete his powerlessness becomes.

I keep this piece because it turns cuckoldry into a simple device. A single sheet of glass can simultaneously preserve the husband's gaze and the third person's body, without complex explanation. The mirror does not hide what happened; it only hides the husband's own position.
